You are invited to join us at the 2019 Innovative Teachers Engage and Collaborate - Hawaii (iTEaCH) Conference on Thursday, June 13, 2019 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Hawaii Convention Center. This is a chance for you to establish a collective and collegial network of K-12 resources and current practices to engage students through integration, infusion, and implementation of computer science concepts that affect our daily lives and have a direct impact on the future of our global community. This conference will provide an innovative space for teachers to explore and share ideas about computer science whether you are curious, newbies or advanced learners wanting to enhance your instructional practices.
The Industry Innovation Challenge showcases real-world industry/community issues/trends aims to encourage teachers to design an innovative unit of study to utilize with students to address the challenge. A`ala Park and the surrounding area brings back fond childhood memories for many community members. American Savings Bank (ASB) recently opened its brand new Campus nearby. ASB plans to help revitalize A`ala Park and is looking to include student voice and innovative ideas into the discussion.
